Worn by the man known as "Mad Dog," this all-original yellow jersey was worn by Pittsburgh Pirates' slugger Bill Madlock during his 1983 Batting Championship season. The Pirates yellow pullover has "PIRATES 5" on the front and "MADLOCK 5" on the back, along with a Wilson size 42 tag in collar, and "5 83 1" strip tag sewn on the front tail. Originally sourced directly from Madlock, this beauty is signed "Best Wishes - Bill Madlock – 1983 Batting Champ – .323” in marker on the front. Shows excellent use throughout and has a tremendous vintage 1980s look. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
