Brooks Robinson, or “The Human Vacuum Cleaner” was one of, if not the best defensive third baseman in MLB history. Robinson won 16 consecutive Gold Glove Awards, tied for the second-most all-time at any position. Robinson is a two-time World Series champion, an American League MVP and World Series MVP, has his No. 5 retired by the Baltimore Orioles franchise and was named to the MLB’s All-Century Team. In 1983, Robinson was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on the first ballot. Inside the neck is the Gerry Cosby manufacturer’s tag size “48” with washing instructions. On the left sleeve is an Orioles “Bird” team logo patch. Across the front reads “Orioles” in script and on the right sleeve is the player number “5”. These are done in orange tackle twill. This jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn attributed to Brooks Robinson and shows wear. Accompanied by a MEARS LOA.
