Boasting a reputation and one of baseball's best closers, Dennis Eckersley became the first of two pitchers in MLB history to have both a 20-win season and a 50-save season in a career. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2004 on the first ballot and is a member of the MLB All-Time Team. On the inside front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturers tag size “44” with washing instructions. Attached is a strip tag reading “2 90” embroidered in green. On the left sleeve is the A’s “Elephant” patch and on the right sleeve is a “Rawlings” logo embroidered in green. Across the chest reads “Athletics” in script style writing. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “43”. These are done in green on yellow tackle twill. Across the back on a white nameplate is the player name “ECKERSLEY” in green tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
