Baseball's all-time strikeout leader and with a major-league record seven no-hitters to his credit, Nolan Ryan is in many ways the most remarkable pitcher ever to play the game. Ryan became a first-ballot Hall of Famer in 1999 with support from 98.8% of the voters. Inside the front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions and two attached flag tags reading “SET 1” and “1976”. The manufacturer’s tag has been restored. Across the chest reads “Angels”. The player number “30” appears below and on back. Across the back reads the player name “RYAN”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on navy blue tackle twill. Ryan signed the front of the jersey in blue marker and in our opinion the signature rates a 9. On the left sleeve is an Angels team logo patch. This jersey is properly tagged although restored, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
