The 1931 Philadelphia A’s finished the regular season 107-45 and went on to win the American League Championship for the third consecutive year. This “Special League” baseball is loaded with signatures from the AL Champs highlighted by Jimmie Foxx, Connie Mack, Lefty Grove, Eddie Collins, Mickey Cochrane, Al Simmons and many others. The signatures are done in blue ink and in our opinion rate between 5-8 with the Foxx and Mack being among the strongest. Handwritten on the ball is “CHAMPS 29-30-31”. The ball is evenly toned and presents beautifully. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA.
