The Washington Capitals lifted the Stanley Cup for the first time at the end of the 2017-18 NHL season. Led by Alexander Ovechkin, the Capitals defeated the expansion Vegas Golden Knights 4-1 in the Stanley Cup Finals. Ovechkin earned the 2017-18 Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP after leading the playoffs in goals and finishing second to his teammate Evgeny Kuznetsov in total points. Ovechkin led the NHL in goals during the regular season, lighting the lamp 49 times, and adding 38 assists for 87 total points. Offered here is a Washington Capitals Stanley Cup Championship ring. Made of a combination sterling silver and 10K white and yellow gold, this ring is expertly set with diamonds, genuine rubies and blue sapphire. This ring has pave-set round diamonds, with an additional 27 diamonds that surround the Capitals’ logo, which is filled with blue and red color enamel. Above the CAPITALS wordmark are three custom-cut star-shaped rubies. Encircling the logo are 28 custom taper-cut rubies and across the top is “STANLEY CUP” with “CHAMPIONS” below, all in raised lettering. The left shank features the United States Capitol building with an incredibly intricate detail. The name “BRAMER” is in raised relief on the top and on the right is the Capitals logo. Above the Capitol Building are individual custom-cut sapphire and ruby stones. The right shank has the Stanley Cup with “WASHINGTON DC” and “2018” in raised relief. Three custom-cut star-shaped rubies are on this shank as well. The inside band has “©JOSTENS 925/10K” stamped in black. This ring is an approximate size “10” and weighs roughly 42 grams. Also included with this ring is the original wood hinged presentation box that is black with a clear top with the Washington Capitals logo etched in silver on the top left and “2018 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS” with the image of the cup on the bottom right.
