Hall of Famer Dan Issel scored his 15,000th career point on December 2nd, 1977 in a 126-92 victory against the New Jersey Nets. Issel recorded a double-double scoring 22 points and added 10 rebounds in the contest. Offered is the actual ball that the Hall of Famer used to score his milestone 15,000th point. Wilson manufactured “Official NBA” basketball with a great vintage feel and look. Stamped on the South panel is the commissioner’s signature stamp and stamped on another panel reads “LAST BILT” with “JT” stamped beneath. Issel signed the ball in black marker with the added inscription “12/2/77 Nuggets v Nets 15,000 point game” and in our opinion the signature rates a near 10. Also included is a wooden stand that reads “15,000 PTS. 1977-NBA”. Accompanied by an Issel LOA and a Full JSA LOA.
