Stan Mikita was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983 alongside teammate Bobby Hull. Mikita spent his entire career in Chicago and was among the NHL’s most dominant players of his time. During the 1960’s Stan captured 4 Art Ross Trophies as the NHL’s leading scorer, 2 Hart Memorial Trophies as the NHL’s Most Valuable Player and 2 Lady Byng Trophies. When Mikita retired, he was among the NHL’s all-time leaders in goals, assists and points. Inside the rear collar is the “GUNZO’S” manufacturers tag with an attached flag tag reading “SIZE 46”. On the inside rear left tail is a tag with jersey materials and washing instructions that is starting to slightly separate. On the chest is a large Blackhawks team logo in red, green, white, yellow, blue, orange chain-stitching on copper-colored tackle twill. The player number “21” appears on both sleeves and on the back in black tackle twill. Above the player number on each sleeve is a different team logo done in red, black, green and yellow chain-stitching on black tackle twill. Mikita’s longtime friend and Blackhawks teammate signed the back of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “HOF 1983” and in our opinion the signature rates a 9. This jersey is properly tagged and was presented to us as a pro cut. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
