George Gervin was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1996. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturers tag size “38” with washing instructions. On the left inseam is a flag tag reading “2” Extra Length”. Across the chest reads “SAN ANTONIO”. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “44”. Across the back is the player name “GERVIN”. All numbering and lettering is done in white on black on white tackle twill. Gervin signed the front of the jersey in silver marker with the added inscription “Iceman #44” and in our opinion the signature rates a near 9. This jersey is properly tagged and was presented to us as a salesman sample. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
