Robin Roberts was the first pitcher to give up 500 career home runs. The first of which was hit by Wally Westlake and the final career home run off Roberts was from Willie Stargell. All three have signed this baseball with Roberts on the sweet spot. Stargell signed on a side panel with the added inscription “HR #505 9/3/66” and Westlake signed a different panel with the added inscription “On 6-18-49 My H.R. off Robin Roberts was the 1st he allowed''. The signatures are done in blue and black and in our opinion rate a combined 9. Spotting and staining are present throughout the ball and does interfere with the Roberts signature.
