Dennis Eckersley became the first of two pitchers in MLB history to have both a 20-win season and a 50-save season in a career. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2004 on the first ballot and is a member of the MLB All-Time Team. On the inside front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag. Attached are two flag tags reading the size “46” and “SET 1 1997 ”. Across the chest reads “Cardinals” beneath their team “Birds on a bat” logo done in red, navy blue and yellow embroidery. On the back is the player number “43” and across the back on a grey nameplate is the player name “ECKERSLEY”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “Jackie Robinson 50th BREAKING BARRIERS” anniversary patch. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows appropriate use.
