Ichiro Suzuki entered the record books in 2004 by breaking George Sisler's long-standing hit record with an incredible 262 hits during the season. A future first ballot Hall of Fame inductee, Suzuki has proven to be one of the best hitters in MLB history after a great career in Japan. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic Authentic manufacturers tag. On this tag is a Beckett sticker serial number “T33012”. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading the year "2004" and three flag tags reading “+1” SLEEVE LENGTH”, “+2” EXTRA LENGTH” and the size “46 100% POLYESTER”. Across the front is "MARINERS" in navy blue on teal on silver triple tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "ICHIRO" in navy blue on teal tackle twill on a white name plate. Below that is the player number "51" in the same tackle twill. On the back of the collar is the official “MLB” logo patch. On the left sleeve is the official "Seattle Mariners" embroidered logo patch and below is the "Russell" embroidered logo. Ichiro signed the back of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a 7. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
