On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturers tag with washing instructions. Attached are two flag tags reading “100% POLYESTER 52” and “2” EXTRA LENGTH”. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading “YO”. Adjacent above is a MLB hologram serial number “MT00468005” although it does not register in the MLB database. On the left chest is the team’s interlocking “NY” logo. The player number “22” appears on back. These are done in navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a black armband worn in memory of Bob Lemon which has been restored. At the rear neck is the official MLB embroidered logo patch. Clemens has signed the front in black marker adding the inscription “2000” and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
