Joe Torre was inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame in 2014. On the front right tail is the Rawlings manufacturers tag size “44” with an attached flag tag reading “SET 1 1980” and washing instructions. Inside the rear neck is a strip tag reading “44/42 9 80 1” embroidered in blue chain stitching. Across the chest reads “Mets” in script style writing. Adjacent below and on the back is the manager number “9”. Across the back is the manager name “TORRE” on a nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on orange tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a Mets team logo disc patch. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as manager-worn and shows wear. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match and grading the jersey 9+.
