Hank Aaron was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982 on the first ballot. One of the best power hitters to ever play, Aaron held most career power hitting records at the time of his retirement. Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby Model Number: A99 Labeling Period: 1973-1975 Length: 35 inches Weight: 32.1 ounces Wood: Ash Finish: Standard. This bat is uncracked and shows evidence of excellent use. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the left and back barrel. Also visible on the bat are blue bat rack streaks and there is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The model number is stamped into the knob and the player number “44” is written on the knob in black marker. Aaron signed on the right barrel in blue marker and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA LOA grading the bat a GU 8.5 and an ALOA from JSA.
