Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals was the final game with the Chicago Bulls for Hall of Famer’s Michael Jordan and coach Phil Jackson. Both would retire from the NBA following the Championship, then eventually return. This game earned, and still holds, the highest TV ratings of an NBA game of all time. Offered is the purple towel MJ used in the Championship clinching game against the Utah Jazz. The towel comes with a signed affidavit that reads in part “The purple towel enclosed is indeed the actual towel used by Michael Jordan during his final NBA game. I know this because I personally witnessed Alexander Lawrence obtain the towel from the bench seat where Michael Jordan was seated during the game (located directly in front of my seat)”. The towel is mounted inside a frame that no longer has the front glass and the corners of the frame are damaged but do not affect any of the items inside. Also included is a ticket stub from the game located in section 8 row C, which is directly behind the visitor’s bench, two pictures of Jordan wearing the towel and a Utah Jazz seating chart. The frame measures approximately 39.5x29.5”.
