The Chicago Bulls completed their second three-peat in the 1997-98 season led by five-time MVP Michael Jordan. Every time Jordan was in an NBA Finals he captured the Finals MVP award, and during the 1997-98 NBA Finals Jordan averaged 33.5 points in a staggering 41.7 minutes per game while capturing his sixth and final NBA championship. In the rear neck is the Nike manufacturers tag size “XL” with an attached flag tag reading “LENGTH +2”. Handwritten on this tag in period faded black marker is the player number “23”. On the left inseam is a flag tag with jacket materials and washing instructions and an additional Nike “1997-98” tag. On the right chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. On the left chest reads “CHICAGO BULLS” embroidered in black. Adjacent below and on the back is the team’s “Bull” logo patch in red white and black embroidery. Jordan signed the front of the jacket in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a near 9. Beneath the signature is an Upper Deck hologram serial number “BAF63067”. In the rear waistband of the pants is the Nike manufacturers tag size “XL” with three attached flag tags reading “LENGTH +4”, one with pant materials and washing instructions and a Nike “1997-98” year tag. This warm-up suit is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and shows wear. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA and a UDA COA, the hologram is no longer present.
