Appropriately entitled Maybe I'll Pitch Forever, this autobiography of the greatest pitcher ever to emerge from the Negro Leagues was published in 1962, three years before Paige made his final Major League appearance tossing three scoreless innings for the Kansas City Athletics at age 59. The first edition hardcover remains in marvelous condition, complete with original dust jacket, and is flawlessly signed on the opening blank page, "Best Wishes from Satchel Paige" in black ink and in our opinion rates a strong 9. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
