Gary Sheffield wore this jersey on May 21st, 1998 against the Chicago Cubs in a 7-3 victory. Sheffield went 2-3 with 1 RBI in the contest. On the inside of the front left tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “48” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a flag tag that reads, “100% POLYESTER” and a strip tag reading the year “1998”. Across the chest reads, “Dodgers” in blue on white tackle twill. The player number “10” appears on the front in red tackle twill. The player number “10” also appears on the back. Across the back reads the player name, “SHEFFIELD”. These are done in blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a “40TH ANNIVERSARY 1958 1998 LOS ANGELES Dodgers” patch.
