Nolan Ryan was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999. One of the best strikeout pitchers in the history of baseball, Ryan holds MLB records for career strikeouts and no-hitters. Ryan was named to the MLB All-Century Team. In the rear neck is the Sand-Knit manufacturers tag size “44”. Adjacent above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the HOUSTON ASTROS” tag. Handwritten on this tag is the player number “34” in black marker. Across the chest of this multi-colored sweater reads “Astros” and across the back reads the player name “RYAN”. All lettering is done in white tackle twill. Ryan signed the front of the sweater in silver marker and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. Beneath the signature is a Ryan hologram. This sweater is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and shows use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
