Edson Arantes do Nascimento, “Pelé” is widely regarded as one of the best and most famous football players of all time. In 1999, he was voted Football Player of the Century by the IFFHS International Federation of Football History and Statistics. In 1999, the International Olympic Committee named Pelé the "Athlete of the Century". Throughout his career, he scored 760 official goals, 541 in league championships, making him the top scorer of all time. In total, Pelé scored 1281 goals in 1363 games. Attached to the rear collar is the Umbro International manufacturers tag “TO FIT SIZE 97 cm 38 inch” with jersey materials and washing instructions on the verso. On the left chest is a “COSMOS” team logo. The player number appears on the right chest, right sleeve and on back. Across the back reads the player name “PELE”. These are done in green tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in the opinion of the sportswriter shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA detailing how the jersey was given before a dinner with Pele on October 1, 1977 and a Photo-Match.com LOA grading the jersey a perfect 10.
