The 1992 United States men's Olympic basketball team, nicknamed the "Dream Team", was the first American Olympic team to feature active NBA players. They defeated their opponents by an average of almost 44 points en route to the gold medal against Croatia at the 1992 Summer Olympics held in Barcelona. Magic teamed with Larry, Michael and a cast of Hall Of Famers to make up the greatest sports team ever assembled. Magic is an NBA Top 50 player, Hall of Fame Class of 2002. On the front left tail is the Champion manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions. Adjacent is a “DESIGNED AND TAILORED EXCLUSIVELY FOR 1992 SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES” tag. On the left inseam are two flag tags reading “100% POLYESTER” and “3” EXTRA BODY LENGTH”. On the upper left chest is a “Champion” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “USA BASKETBALL” Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “15”. These are screened on in red on blue. Across the back is the player name “JOHNSON” screened in red. Johnson signed the front of the jersey in black marker with the ultra rare inscription “Barcelona 92” and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. There is yellowing to the body from sweat staining and discernible laundering on the tags that makes this one of the better Magic Dream Team jerseys to enter the hobby. This jersey is properly tagged and was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA.
