In the history of Major League Baseball, there have been just 23 perfect games. With the most memorable performance in Yankee Stadium history, Don Larsen and his battery mate Yogi Berra combined for the only one ever in a World Series against the Brooklyn Dodgers. This Rawlings manufactured OAL Brown baseball has been dual-signed by both Larsen and Berra with the Dodgers stats and an inscription penned by Larsen. Larsen signed on the east panel in blue ink and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. Handwritten above this reads “Yogi was key in my perfect game v.s. Brooklyn Dodgers 1956 World Series Monday, October 8, 1956 1:05 pm”. Written on the opposite panel is the Dodgers lineup, position, number of AB’s, R’s, and H’s, which except for the AB’s are all zeros. Berra signed on the sweet spot in blue ink and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. Minor spotting is seen throughout. EX condition. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
