In their final season in the Big East before moving to the Big 12, the West Virginia Mountaineers earned the league's automatic berth in the BCS. They were invited to the Orange Bowl for the first time ever where they defeated Clemson 70–33. The 70 points in the Orange Bowl is the most points ever scored by one team in a bowl game. This ring measures to a size “11” and surrounded the face reads “BIG EAST CHAMPIONS” with the West Virginia logo in the middle with six diamonds surrounding the logo. Diamonds also line the edges of the face. On the right shank reads “MOUNTAINEERS WVU 70 CLEMSON 33 DISCOVER ORANGE BOWL 2011”. On the left shank reads “KELLER” and “TR” with a helmet in between. Properly stamped on the inside band “LTM”.
