Ken Griffey Jr. was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016 on the first ballot. During the early 1990s, Griffey Jr. had a few variations of his name appear on his bats including “CMB 24”, standing for Cash Money Brothers with Griffey Jr., Harold Reynolds and Kevin Mitchell. Manufacturer: Louisville Slugger Model Number: C71 Labeling Period: 1992 Length: 34 inches Weight: 30.4 ounces Wood: Ash Finish: None. This bat shows evidence of outstanding use with a handle crack. Checking from repeated ball contact is on the back barrel. A 2.75” sliver is missing from the checking. The player number “24” is written on the knob in pencil. Though a Griffey Jr. bat, PSA/DNA can not confirm the use on the bat to Griffey Jr. The “24’ on the knob in pencil is suspect and the tape residue is not consistent with Griffey Jr.s thin criss-cross tape pattern. Therefore, PSA/DNA considers this bat to be a non-recorded order and possibly a sample. Several players have been known to compile several non-recorded orders. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA LOA.
