Hugh "The King" McElhenny amassed over 11,000 yards of total offense in his career, retiring in 1964 as one of only three players to reach that plateau. In 1970, "King Hughie" was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturers tag size “48” with washing instructions. Across the front, back and on both sleeves is the player number “39” in silver tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA grading the jersey a perfect 10.
