Troy Aikman was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006. Aikman spent his entire 12-year career with the Dallas Cowboys and won three Super Bowl titles and was a Super Bowl MVP. This style of jersey was worn only once during the 1994 season, on September 19th against the Detroit Lions. Aikman passed for 220 yard and a touchdown that day. On the front left tail is the Apex manufacturers tag with an attached flag tag reading the size “48”. On the left inseam is a flag tag with jersey materials and washing instructions. On the left chest is the NFL’s “75” Anniversary patch. On the front and back is the player number “8” in blue tackle twill. Across the back on a blue nameplate is the player name “AIKMAN” in white tackle twill. Down the sleeves is the Cowboys team “Star” patch and the player number “8” in white tackle twill as well as an Apex logo. Aikman signed the back of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. Minor staining is seen throughout the jersey including the collar and back. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA and an equipment manager LOA that is a bit ambiguous stating that this jersey may have been a backup even though clear game wear is visible.
