Larry Bird was named to the NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Team, has his No. 33 retired by the Boston Celtics franchise and is a two-time inductee of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame for both his personal achievements and as a member of the Dream Team. On the front left tail is the Champion manufacturer’s tag size “46” with washing instructions. Adjacent is a “DESIGNED AND TAILORED EXCLUSIVELY FOR 1992 SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES” tag. On the left inseam are two flag tags reading “100% POLYESTER” and “3” EXTRA BODY LENGTH”. On the upper left chest is a “Champion” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “USA BASKETBALL” Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “7”. These are screened on in red on blue. Across the back is the player name “BIRD” screened in red. Bird signed the front of the jersey in red marker and in our opinion the signature rates a near 8. This jersey was originally sourced from famed clothing designer Jeff Hamilton and was presented to us as game-used at the time, but it features the alternate style of name on back and was possibly used in promotional events. This jersey is properly tagged and in our opinion shows use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
