Fergie Jenkins was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991. Jenkins established himself as a consistent pitcher, having won 20 games in seven seasons, the second being in 1968 when he went 20-15. Offered is a game used baseball from his 20th win that year. Spalding manufactured off-white, ONL Warren Giles baseball. Handwritten in blue ink on the sweet spot is "Sun. Sept. 29 1968 Pittsburg - 3 Chicago - 4". Just below on the south panel reads "BLASS VS JENKINS" and on the north panel is "Win No. 20." Jenkins signed further up on the north panel in blue ink with the added inscription “HOF 91" and in our opinion the signature rates a near 9. The baseball remains in tremendous condition, with bold stampings and a few minor stains, none which affect the signature or any of the inscriptions. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA, a PSA/DNA COA and an additional LOA.
