The first player to ever be inducted into the Hall of Fame unanimously, Mariano Rivera won five World Series Championships and was the World Series MVP in 1999. He holds the MLB record for saves and was the five-time AL Rolaids Relief Man Award. Rivera wore this road jersey on August 29, 2010 against the Chicago White Sox, pitching a scoreless 9th inning to record his 27th save of the season in a 2-1 victory. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturers tag with two attached flag tags reading the size “46” and the year “2010”. On this tag is a MLB hologram serial number “FJ125002” and a Steiner hologram serial number “158400”. On the left inseam is a flag tag with jersey materials and washing materials. On the left sleeve is the “BOB SHEPPARD THE VOICE OF YANKEE STADIUM” memorial patch and on the upper left chest is the “George M. Steinbrenner III GMS “THE BOSS” memorial patch. Across the chest reads “NEW YORK” and on the back is the player number “42”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the back collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in navy blue, white, and silver. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from Steiner and a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match.
