In the rear collar is the MacGregor manufacturers tag size “44”. Adjacent below is a box tag reading “39” embroidered in red. On the inside right button path is an additional MacGregor tag reading “SET 1 1965” and a tag with washing instructions. Handwritten on the front left tail in period faded black marker is the year “65”. Across the chest reads “NEW YORK” and on the back is the player number “39”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue felt. The front "NEW YORK" has been restored with period felt. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
