Bill "Moose" Skowron was a six-time All-Star for the Yankees at first base. A member of the Yanks from 1954 to 1962, Skowron was in seven World Series with the team. In the rear collar is a Wilson distributor’s tag with an attached flag tag reading the size “46”. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading “Skowron” in script style embroidery. Across the chest reads “NEW YORK” and across the back is the player number ”14”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue felt. This jersey has undergone an extensive restoration process. The front and back numbers and letters have been restored. The strip tag reading the player name has been relocated lower due to the fact that new material has been added in the collar. There are numerous condition issues throughout. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding wear with extended organizational use.
