Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Willie Davis wore this home flannel jersey during Sandy Koufax’s perfect game against the Chicago Cubs on September 9, 1965. On the front left tail is the Spalding manufacturers tag size “42”. Embroidered below is “W Davis 65” in blue chain stitching. On the inside front left tail is a tag with washing instructions with an attached flag tag reading “SET 1 1965”. Across the chest reads “Dodgers” in script style writing done in blue felt. Adjacent below is the player number “3” in red felt. Across the back is also the player number “3” in blue felt. Davis signed the front of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an additional LOA grading the jersey a perfect A10.
