Larry Wilson was originally a cornerback but found his place on the team when he switched to free safety. He was selected to eight Pro Bowls, was a member of the NFLs 75TH Anniversary Team as well as the NFL All-Decade teams for both the 1960s and 1970s. He was elected to the Football Hall of Fame in 1978 and his number “8” is retired by the Cardinals organization. Inside this Rawlings helmet is player number “8” written in black marker on the left of the dome and on the right padding. The inner padding is fully intact. On the back outer shell reads “Cy Co Lite HND 6 7-8-7” and “Rawlings MADE IN USA”. Across the back on a piece of red dyno tape is the player name and number “L. WILSON - 8”. The Cardinals team logo is on both sides and is starting to deteriorate from aging. The Riddell facemask has been replaced and now features a single-bar. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows good game wear.
