Ralph Sampson was the No. 1 overall pick in the 1983 NBA draft, was a four-time NBA All-Star and won the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1984. Sampson was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012. On the front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturers tag. Attached to the rear collar is an additional Rawlings flag tag reading size “ADULT 40” with jersey materials and washing instructions and a flag tag reading “3 INCH EXTRA LENGTH”. Across the chest reads, “Houston”, the player number “50” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “SAMPSON”. All numbering and lettering is done in white tackle twill sewn directly onto the red mesh jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from Photo-Match.com grading the jersey a perfect 10.
