Corbett was posthumously inducted into the Ring Magazine Hall of Fame in 1965 and the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2010. This black and white photo measures approximately 5x7 inches and depicts Corbett II in boxing attire. Corbett signed the bottom right of the photo in black ink with the added inscriptions “Yours Truly” and “1901” and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. There is minor condition and aging issues on the edges but the signature is not affected. Although Corbett II is a Hall of Famer, there is an extremely limited number of examples of his signature, so much so that James Spence Authentications had no record of his signature in their database. It is possible that this is the only known example. This photo is being sold as is.
