Spalding manufactured ONL Frick baseball signed by the 1948 Brooklyn Dodgers. The ball is loaded with signatures highlighted by Hall of Famers Jackie Robinson and Roy Campanella. Also included on the ball are Carl Furillo, Rex Barney, Pete Reiser, Hugh Casey and others. CH: R. Blades, B. Shotton, A. Vaughan, R. Branca, P. Roe, H. Behrman, J. Pitler, D. Snider and P. Reese. It has been common practice for clubhouse personnel to perform the duties of “ghost” signatures for ballplayers.
