This jersey was worn by St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Mark McGwire during the 1999 season in which he led the league in home runs (65) and RBI’s (147). On the inner front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag with two flag tags attached reading the size “52” and “SET 1 1999”. Across the front reads “Cardinals” embroidered in red, yellow and navy blue. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “25”. Across the back is the player name “MCGWIRE” on a white nameplate. All lettering and numbering is done in red on navy blue tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
