Goose Gossage was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008. On the front left tail is The Best Descente manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is a materials tag with washing instructions and an attached flag tag reading “SET II 1977”. Below is a strip tag with, “54 44 77” embroidered on it in black. Across the chest reads, “PIRATES”. The player number “54” appears below and on the back. All numbering and lettering is done in black on yellow tackle twill sewn directly onto the pinstripe jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA confirming the match.
