On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturers tag with an attached flag tag reading “50 100% POLYESTER”. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading “HELTON-50-17”. On the left sleeve is a Rockies team logo patch with a “Russell Athletic” logo embroidered in white below. Across the chest reads “COLORADO” in silver sparkle on black on white tackle twill. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “17” and across the back is the player name “HELTON”. These are done in black on white tackle twill. On the back collar is an official “MLB” logo. Helton signed the back of the jersey in grey marker with the added inscription “HR #18 & 19 July 11th 2003 Vs. Hideo Nomo”. In the rear waistband of the pants is the Russell Athletic manufacturers tag size “37” with washing instructions. Attached are two flag tags reading “100% POLYESTER -1” IN WAIST” and “-1” TAPER LEG”. adjacent is a strip tag reading “17-HELTON-36/39-23-03”. Inside the rear sweatband of the cap is the New Era manufacturers tag. Adjacent is the Authentic Collection tag and size “7 1-2” tag with washing instructions. The player number “17” is handwritten on the buckram in black marker. Although this jersey is inscribed with the HRs and comes with a Helton LOA, we have been unable to locate a conclusive photo-match to this game. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and a Helton LOA.
