On the inside back headband of the cap is the New Era manufacturer’s tag. To the right of that is an additional manufacturer’s tag with the cap size "7 1-8" and washing instructions. Adjacent to the left is a "Diamond Collection" tag. On the underside of the bill of the cap is "9/16/97 #2764 HOU" in black marker attributing the cap to this career hit. On the buckram of the cap is the player number "19" written in black marker. On the front of the cap is the official Padres "SD" team logo. On the back of the cap is the official "MLB" logo. Gwynn signed under the bill of the cap next to the inscription in blue marker and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. This cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used attributed to Tony Gwynn and shows use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
