As a player, coach and manager, Yogi Berra was a part of 13 World Series championship teams. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972, Berra was also named to the MLB All-Century Team. Handwritten in the rear neck is the name “BERRA” in period faded black marker. On the left sleeve is a Mets team logo disc patch and on the right sleeve is a rare “New York City Diamond Jubilee 1898-1973” patch. On the left chest is the Mets “NY” interlocking logo in orange on blue shenille. Originally sourced from the Mets museum, the jacket is accompanied by the sign from the museum that was on display with the jacket. This jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as managers-worn in the World Series and shows use.
