After winning the 1989 World Series known as the “Earthquake Series”, the Oakland Athletics visited the White House to be celebrated for their achievement by the late 41st President George H.W. Bush. During the visit, the President gifted the team with signed baseballs. Rawlings manufactured 1989 Official World Series baseball single-signed by President George H.W. Bush. Bush signed on the sweet spot in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a near 9. EX-NM condition with minor spotting and scuffing throughout. This baseball was sourced directly from an Oakland A’s employee who was in attendance at the White House. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
