Charles Barkley was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006 for his individual career and in 2010 for being a member of the 1992 USA men’s basketball Olympic “Dream Team”. He was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. Barkley won the SEC Player of the Year award as a member of the Auburn Tigers during the 1983-84 season. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “AUBURN”. The player number “34” appears below and on the back. These are painted in orange on white. Barkley signed inside the back player number “3” in black pen and in our opinion, rates an 8 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Our consignor told us that this came directly from the equipment manager. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and photos of Barkley signing the jersey with the consignor.
