In 1932, the New York Yankees won their fourth and last World Series led by Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. After having already hit a home run earlier in Game Three against the Chicago Cubs, Ruth came to the plate in the fifth inning. Amidst the jeers of the crowd, Ruth allegedly stepped out of the batter's box and pointed to the centerfield stands, "calling his shot." On the next pitch, Ruth slammed a home run into the bleachers. The world may never know if he really called his shot, but the legend remains one of the most famous moments in baseball history. The Yankees went on to sweep the Cubs in four games. Offered are four ticket stubs from that 1932 World Series including the “called shot” game. All stubs have been encapsulated by PSA and graded “AUTHENTIC”.
