Future first ballot Hall of Famer Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs defeated the New Jersey Nets in the 2003 NBA Finals in six games for the franchise’s second Championship. Duncan was named Finals MVP as he averaged an astounding 24.2 points, 17 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 5.3 blocks per game in the series. Duncan was also the named the regular season MVP in the 2002-03 season. Widely considered to be the greatest power forward of all time, Duncan is a five-time NBA champion, two-time NBA MVP, three-time NBA Finals MVP, NBA All-Star Game MVP and NBA Rookie of the Year. He is also a 15-time NBA All-Star. On the front left tail is the Nike “NBA AUTHENTICS” manufacturer’s tag size “54”. Attached is a flag tag reading “LENGTH +4 MADE IN THE USA”. Adjacent to the right is the flag tag reading “DRI-FIT”. On the left inseam are two flag tags, one with jersey materials and washing instructions and a Nike year “2002-03” tag. On the upper left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered and on the upper right chest is the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy patch in black and gold. Across the chest reads “SPURS” in white on black on grey tackle twill with the “U” as a “Spurs” logo in black on silver tackle twill. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “21” in the same white on black on grey triple tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “DUNCAN” in white tackle twill sewn directly into the jersey. Duncan has signed inside the “2” on the back of the jersey in silver marker with the added inscription “Spurs” and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. This jersey has been photo-matched to the sixth and final game of the 2003 Western Conference Finals and a Sports Illustrated cover. The jersey was prepared for the NBA Finals with the addition of the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy patch and likely served as a backup in the finals. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the autograph as well LOAs from Photo-Match.com confirming separate matches for both the front and back of the uniform.

This Tim Duncan San Antonio Spurs road jersey has been conslusively photo-matched to atleast 13 games during the 2002-03 season including opening night on October 29th and Game Six of the Western Conference Finals on May 29th. In all of the games in which the jersey has been photo-matched, Duncan recorded a double-double including an incredible 34 point 24 rebound effort on May 23rd, a victory in Game Three of the Western Conference Finals.
