This jersey was worn by New York Yankees relief pitcher Dellin Betances on September 17th, 2014 against the Tampa Bay Rays. Betances pitched one inning striking out two hitters and with the first strikeout he set the Yankee record for most strikeouts by a relief pitcher in a season with 131, breaking the previous record held by Mariano Rivera. On the front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with a “STEINER” hologram serial number “206962” and the size “52”. Adjacent below is a “MLB” hologram with serial number “HZ310105” and Yankee team inventory barcoding. On the left inseam is the “100% POLYESTER” tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “NEW YORK”. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo done in navy blue, silver and white. Across the back is the player number “68”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
