This lot offers an assortment of vintage, unique, classic, and bizarre designed putters that is highlighted by a hickory shaft example made circa 1932 to match the specs of Bobby Jones' putter used to win golf's grand slam. Also highlighted by a pair of circa 1925 Ivora and Amby Dex pair of putters and an 1890 Bridgeport Imp. Co. putter (one of the first American golf club makers), an 1898 "The Spalding" hand forged putter, and an 1910 F. H. Ayres (London) early iron head putter. Also included are a pair of unusual rubber grip and modern head design putters, a single wedge, and many more putters. This lot was sourced from the Newport Sports Museum and used to be a part of their museum display.
