On the inside sweatband of Teixeira’s hat is a New Era manufacturer’s tag, a size “7 5/8” tag, and a MLB “Authentic COLLECTION PERFORMANCE HEADWEAR” tag. Under the brim of the hat written in blue marker reads player number, “25”. Beneath the bill of the hat is a PSA/DNA sticker serial number “AB16498”, a Steiner hologram serial number “222198”, and a MLB hologram serial number “HZ877043”. On the front of the navy blue hat is the Yankees interlocking “NY” logo with red trim and a lighter shade of blue displaying the United States flag for the fourth of July. On the back of the hat is the official “MLB” logo with a white star inside of it. Teixeira has signed the bill of the hat in silver marker with the added inscription “‘15 Game Used” and in our opinion rates a 6. Brian McCann also wore this hat on July 4th, 2015. The hat is of identical style to that of Teixeira’s except for the size is “7 ?”. Under the brim of the hat written in black marker reads player number, “34”. Beneath the bill of the hat is a PSA/DNA sticker serial number “AB18781”, a Steiner hologram serial number “223864”, and a MLB hologram serial number “HZ877067”. McCann signed the bill of the hat in silver marker with the added inscription “2015” and in our opinion rates a 6. These hats are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-worn and in our opinion show appropriate use. Accompanied with a LOA from JSA, a COA from PSA/DNA, and a Steiner LOA.
