Tony La Russa was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014, is a three-time World Series champion and was named Manager of the Year four times, including the 1983 season. On the inside of the front left tail is a “STARTER” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On this tag, “La Russa” and the number “10” are written in black pen. On the inside below the rear collar is an MLB “STARTER” size “XL” tag. On this tag, “La Russa” and the number “10” are written in black pen. On the left chest is the team’s, “SOX” logo patch in red and white stitching on navy blue tackle twill. This jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as manager-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by an LOA from a batboy on the 1983 Chicago White Sox.
